[Class 12 (i)] [Also in Group IX] A bearing for supporting the tubes of cap spinning and twisting spindles comprises a collar 4 housing a separate race 11 and a washer or cap 12 upon which the tube rests. Lubricant is supplied by ducts from a groove 6 to an absorbent washer, and is distributed by the reciprocation of the collar relative to the spindle, a cover plate 14 being provided, if desired, to prevent splashing.
