[Class 97 (i)] Winding means for endless films coiled on a rotating horizontal plate is provided with a cylindrical or conical film-guiding roller having a diameter approximately equal to the internal diameter of the coil and turning about an inclined axis above the coil. Fig. 1 shows a cylindrical roller d carried by a shaft e in a bearing f secured by a yoke i to a support h. A ring l is provided on the roller. The roller n, Fig. 2, is conical, has a sleeve t rotating on a ball s about an inclined pin r secured to the fixed spindle o of the film plate p, and has a projection z to prevent upward movement of the film off the roller. Rollers w, x guide the coiled film r, the rollers x being movable to permit placing of the coiled film on the plate p.
