Abstract

456,461. U n i t air-heaters. FROST & CO., Ltd., H., and MOSS, A. W., 35, Fieldgate, Walsall. June 22, 1935, Nos. 17942 and 34445. [Class 137] A fan 30 driven by a motor 27 draws in air through openings 5 in the lower part of a casing 1, and discharges it past an electric heater 22 and between reflectors 7, 16 and 17 into an enclosure which is also heated by elements 9 arranged in front of the central reflector 7. Some air is also drawn in between a lower reflector 12 and the reflector 7. The heating element 22 may be switched off or dispensed with when more moderate heating is desired. The device is adapted to be let into a wall aperture to provide a flush fitting. The fan may be used to circulate cold air during warm weather.
