Abstract
The unit has a casing with an air inlet grille (1) in the bottom of the front and an air discharge grille (7) in the top. It contains a heating element (5) over which air flows by natural convection. There is a separate cooling coil (4) and a fan (3) which draws air through a filter (2) and discharges it over the cooling coil. A damper (6) just above the inlet grille (1) closes the forced draught passage and opens the natural draught passage in one position and opens the forced draught passage while closing the natural draught one in the other position. It may be operated manually or automatically.
