Abstract

456,156. Window sills. BRAY, A. E., and SLATE SLAB PRODUCTS, Ltd., Stevenage Road, Fulham, London. May 9, 1935, No. 13698. [Class 20 (iii)] A window sill is provided with a flat inwardly extending integral ledge 4 functioning as a window-board. On its lower surface the sill has serrations 9 to key with the wall plaster. A groove 6 keying with a built-in bar 7, and a drip groove 5. A groove 3 is provided in the upper surface, in which the window frame is bedded. The sill is made of slate but, according to the Provisional Specification, it may also be made of other materials such as a hollow metal pressing, concrete, marble or stone.
