Abstract

336,827. Treutler, W. Nov. 6, 1929. Boundary-stones and the like. -A stone suitable for marking a given point in a, landscape, churchyard, &c., comprises a base to which is affixed a plate of mineral building material, such as porcelain, with a burnt inscription and a glazed surface. The plate a may be mounted on existing mark stones by preparing a surface thereon and affixing the plate by means of a quick setting cement. In applying the. plate to new stones a recess may be cut out of the stone for its reception. In the case of artificial stones the plate is pressed in during the compression of the stone.
