Abstract
In carrying out the process described in the parent Specification, alloys are employed which contain at least 70, and preferably at least 85 per cent of silver. Specified alloys comprise (1) 70 parts of silver with 30 parts cadmium; 10 parts manganese, 10 parts aluminium and 10 parts zinc; or 15 parts magnesium, 5 parts aluminium and 10 parts tin; (2) 80 parts silver with 10 parts cadmium and 10 parts magnesium; or 10 parts manganese and 10 parts zinc; (3) 85 parts silver, 8 parts aluminium and 7 parts tin; and (4) 90 parts silver, 6 parts copper and 4 parts aluminium. Specifications 249,155, 277,273, 282,384, and 311,628, [all in Class 32], are referred to.ALSO:In carrying out the process described in the parent Specification, alloys are employed which contain at least 70, and preferably at least 85 per cent of silver.
