Abstract
Alloys for the manufacture of constructional parts or articles comprise silver or gold or silver and gold alloyed with 1-15 per cent of zirconium. Silver zirconium alloys may contain in addition up to 7,5 per cent of copper, up to 7 per cent of zinc, tin, aluminium and beryllium, individually or in any desired combination, the total amount not exceeding 8 per cent. Gold-zirconium or gold-silver-zirconium alloys may also contain up to 7,5 per cent of copper and up to 7 per cent of nickel or iron individually or in any desired combination, the total amount not exceeding 8 per cent. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 also states that the silver-zirconium alloys may also contain antimony, cadmium, manganese and magnesium and the gold-zirconium alloys palladium and platinum. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
