Abstract
Constructional parts or articles which are subjected to stresses, particularly at high temperatures, and to chemical action are made from copper-zirconium alloys containing 1-15 per cent of zirconium. The alloys may also contain up to 2 per cent of nickel, iron, cobalt, silver and beryllium, up to 7 per cent of zinc, up to 7 of tin and up to 7 of aluminium individually or in any desired combination not exceeding a total of 7 per cent. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 states that the alloys may contain up to 2 per cent of gold, not more than 45 per cent of zinc, not more than 25 of tin, and not more than 15 of aluminium. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 29376/10, [Class 82 (i)].
