451,067. Slitting-machines. TRIGGS, W. W., 57, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.- (Cameron Machine Co. ; Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A.) Jan. 28, 1935, No. 26429. Divided out of 451,027. [Class 31 (i)] In a machine in which a resilientlymounted slitting disc or discs 11 co-operate with a backing roller 10, the slitter holder or holders 13 are clamped to a rail 24 on an arm 26 which is loosely mounted on a shaft 27 supported in eccentric bearings and adapted to be turned to adjust the position of the holders 13, being held in adjusted position by a pawl-and-ratchet device. The holders are moved away from the roller 10 by operation of a handle 31 to break a toggle 28. The discs 11 are preferably mounted in the holders as described in Specification 451,027.
