[Class 40 (i)] [See also Group XIX] In a gauge for recording rapid changes of fluid pressure, the fluid at one point in the circuit acts upon a diaphragm, the movements of which are transmitted to a carbon microphone or piezo crystal device connected with a thermionic valve amplifying circuit and an oscillograph so that the pressure variations are recorded on the oscillograph.
