[Class 103 (i)] To prevent " squealing " of rubber, reinforced rubber or fibre brake blocks b for cycle rim-brakes when applied, the blocks are provided with studs a or other insertions of lead, zinc, soft cast iron or other metal possessing lubricating properties which extend to the wearing surface. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 16222/04, 24672/05, 6330/06, [all in Class 103], 362,867, and 379,618.
