Convention dates, June 28, 1934, Oct. 8, 1934, Oct. 19, 1934, Nov. 6, 1934, April 13, 1935, and April 13, 1935. [Classes 94 (i) and 94 (ii)] A bag with bottom 1 and side walls 4, 5, is formed by folding a rectangular blank U-fashion around a rectangular core, folding the marginal portions of the projecting side walls thus formed twice, at 6, 7 and 8, after the projecting parts of the base 2a have been thrust either upwardly between the projecting side walls, Fig. 9, or downwardly at 15, Fig. 12, to form flaps which are subsequently turned upwardly upon the side walls, and finally stapling the folds. The bag may be used as a tea infusion bag and may be provided with holes or cuts 23 of any shape in the walls and also a holding string 19 attached to the closed top by a staple. The filled bag may be packed in a wrapper folded at 25, 27 leaving a tab 22 available for gripping so that the wrapper, crimped along lines 32, 33, may be opened. The string 19 may be positioned in regard to the upper edge of the bag by a notch 21. In a modification the outer wrapper may consist of two blanks crimped together around their peripheries. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 439,338.
