Convention date, Jan. 25. [Class 80 (iii)] [See also Groups XXIX and XXVI] A liquid-meter or a gas or liquid pressure motor comprises pairs of opposed cylinders, each pair having rigidly connected pistons with a slot in the connection for receiving a crank pin d, Fig. 1, for driving a distributing device, the sides of the slot conforming to the geometric envelope of the crank pin, when the latter moves along a line having at the ends straight portions AB, A<1>B<1>, Fig. 3, and at the middle reversed confluent circular arcs BO, OB<1> of a radius equal to the crank throw ; the arrangement allows movement of the crank pin while one pair of pistons dwells in its extreme position.
