Abstract
384,130. Rotary meters. MARISCHKA, C., Gasworks, Leopoldau, Vienna. Feb. 8, 1932, No. 3720. Convention date, March 16, 1931. [Class 110 (ii).] A fluid meter comprises one or more compressible hollow bodies each with an inlet and outlet, disposed round the outside or inside of a cylinder and in contact throughout with the inside or outside of a second eccentricallymounted movable cylinder, so that the tube walls are squeezed together in one place. The eccentric cylinder 7, Figs. 1 and 2, operates counter mechanism, and is mounted on cranks 13 .. 16, or by pivots 8 carried by arms rotatable about the axis of fixed cylinders 1, 19. The compressible bodies are arranged in the space between the cylinders 1, 7 and/or in the space between the cylinders 7, 19, and are provided with an inlet 3 and outlet 4; the abutting ends may overlap as shown in Fig. 3.
