444,627. Circular looms. BRITISH CELANESE, Ltd., 22, Hanover Square, London, and HALE, F. C., c/o British Celanese, Ltd., Spondon, near Derby. Aug. 22, 1934, No. 24204. [Class 142 (ii)] Selvages, forming.-Doup selvages are formed in tubular fabric, Fig. 6, by passing alternate warp threads B adjacent the line C along which the fabric is to be cut between the dents 42, Fig. 3, of a closed comb, the other threads A passing through the eyes of needles 37. The comb moves circumferentially of the loom to bring the threads B alternately to one side or the other of the threads A. The shedding is effected by shedding wheels 29, 30, as described in Specifications 441,012 and 441,082 while the shuttles are operated by vane wheels.
