[Class 122 (v)] A rod &c. packing comprises an outer split ring 5 having a recess to accommodate an inner split ring 19 and an integral stop pin engaging the split in the inner ring to prevent the slits from coinciding. The rings are mounted in recesses in or between plates 1, 2 held together by bolts 7.
