Abstract

443,912. Tent pegs. MARTIN, S. BOSWORTH-, Charley Hall, Loughborough, Leicestershire. Sept. 7, 1934, No. 25815. [Class 45] A tent - peg comprises a flat or slightly concave stake A having a number of apertures B of inverted keyhole form along its centre line. The bracing wires are secured to a metal stud C, Fig. 4, having a head which passes through one of the apertures and a shank which engages in the rectangular part of the aperture. The peg is driven into the ground at an angle, the bracing wire cutting through the ground as the stake with the attached stud, is driven into the ground. The shank of the stud may be of square, rectangular, &c. section. The stake is preferably of metal, but may be of wood.
