J., (trading as GREAVES & THOMAS), Amherst Works, Northwold Road, Clapton, London.-(Seng Co. ; 1450, Drayton Street, Lincoln Park Station, Chicago, U.S.A.) Aug. 23, 1934, No. 24299. [Class 52 (ii)] A bed-settee comprises a displaceable seat portion and a back movable into the place of the seat. A box-like structure 1 has a seat 2 and a back 4 each supported by two sets of linkages 7, 8 and 17-19, controlled by springs 13, 14, 25, connected to small crosspieces 12, 24. The seat 2 having been displaced as shown, the back is turned down moving on pivots 22, 23 which connect its frame 15 to the links 18, 19, and falls to a position level with the upraised seat 2.
