Abstract

441,436. Cement guns. ECHBERG, A. F., and TEXCRETE, Ltd., 296, High Holborn, London. March 16, 1935, No. 8243. [Class 20 (ii)] [See also Group XXIX] An apparatus for spraying cement and granular material either separately or together on walls &c., comprises a hopper 1 divided by a partition 1<a> into two compartments 11, 12 leading to an ejector 3 for the cement and a passage 14 for the granular material respectively. The cement ejector comprises a tubular member 3 having an upstanding socket 2<a> communicating with the chamber 12, and is provided at one end with a tube 4 having a packing gland 5 through which a tube for compressed air may pass. The outer end of the tube 3 is provided with a plug 7 having a conical opening extending to the branch 2. The granular material is ejected through a T-shaped member 13, 14 which when not required may be turned upwards about a set screw 15. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to U.S.A. Specification 1,863, 924.
