Abstract

441,092. Fastenings for shoes. NEAL & SONS, Ltd., D., and NEAL, L. E., 3, Portman Square, London. July 31, 1934, No. 22298. [Class 17 (ii)] [See also Group XXV] The stringers 4 of a sliding-clasp fastening 2 are attached to a close-fitting upper 1 of a shoe on the opposite sides of the opening therein through the medium of an elastic strip 3, so that the upper may be drawn closely to the foot. The outer edges of the strips 3 are secured between the upper and lining.
