[Class 83 (iv)] [See also Group XXIV] To reduce the tightness of fit at the ends of a wheel C or race-ring 1, on an axle B, V-shaped annular grooves 11, 10 are formed in one or both their ends, which latter are thereby provided with resilient lips. The members are shrunk or press-fitted on the axle.
