[Class 37] A choking-coil comprises a number of rectangular punch ings 1 having a gap 2 in one side, and a straight laminated member 3 passing through the gap into proximity with the other side, the coi being arranged about the straight member. With this construction, an air gap 6 is formed within the frame of the core, so that the choking-coil may be mounted in a casing of magnetic material without affecting its characteristics.
