Abstract
439,704. Supporting cycle lamps. MILLER, F. J., 9, Stonehouse Road, Sutton Coldfield. Sept. 4, 1934, No. 25412. [Class 75 (iii)] An electric dry-battery cycle lamp comprises a battery casing b, attached by a clip or clamp a to a bracket on the off-side of the steering fork, and a projector c carried by a bracket c<1>, pivoted at d to an extension a<2> of a bracket a<1> on the casing b, so that the projector can be adjusted in a vertical plane at, or substantially at, right angles to the cycle frame and be set at a distance laterally of, or in an upright or folded position close to, the frame. The angular movements of the projector are limited by stops d<1>, d2, the stop d' being adapted to support the projector and hold it steady in its laterally-extending position. The stops d<1>, d<2> may be of hooked or channel section for engaging an edge of a flat sheetmetal bracket c<1>. The lamp bulb is connected with the battery by a cable e.
