[Classes 50 and 55 (ii)] The heating gas used in welding comprises an acetylene hydrocarbon containing besides a triple carbon linkage a further triple carbon linkage or a double carbon linkage or a mixture of such hydrocarbons, with or without another heating gas. Vinyl-acetylene, diacetylene, and pentadiines are suitable either singly or in admixture with one another or other fuels.
