Abstract

438,299. Powder &c. distributers. BARDEN, H., 97, Glenlea Road, Eltham Park, London. Dec. 13, 1934, No. 35773. [Class 18] A carton for granular or powdered material is provided with a discharge opening 2, or openings 1 formed in one side of the carton at the corner thereof and with a spout constituted by two connected members 3a, 3<b>. The member 3a is hingedly connected to a side or end of the carton, while the second member 3b is free, so that the spout can be turned from a position in which it overlies the opening or openings to the pouring position. A slot 6 to receive the free member 3b in the closed position of the spout is provided in the end of the side having the hole or holes. A lug 3<c> on the member 3<b> limits the outward movement of the spout.
