438,062. Cutting and slicing vegetables &c. FROST, J. F., Umlaass Farm, and PATERSON, A., Waverley, both in Eston, Natal, South Africa. May 26, 1934, No. 15735. [Class 5 (i)] A device for slicing fruit or vegetables comprises a body portion 1 of wood provided with a V-shaped recess extending from one side to form a slot in the other side, a metal clip 2 holding a safety razor blade 3 being secured to one side of such recess by a screw 4. The clip is slotted to take the screw and adjustment of the blade may be made as the central hole in the blade is larger than the body of the screw. The body portion 1 may be made of sheet metal.
