[Class 35] [See also Group XXXVI] Terminals and accessories, arrangement on machines.-A resistance coil for universal motor is interchangeably mounted within an opening in the motor frame structure and is attached to or formed in one with the terminal carrier. In the form shown, the block 10 carries four terminals for the various motor circuits and has lugs for bolting it to the frame 1 into which the resiliently supported resistance 9 extends. Air circulated over the resistance by a fan or the governor weights leaves the frame through apertures, such as 24.
