Abstract
437,077. Reflector holders. CROSSLAND, A. G., Price Street, Birmingham. Jan. 9, 1935, No. 715. [Class 75 (ii)] In an electric lamp in which the reflector 1 has a central opening 3 in its tubular crown 2 and is detachably connected to and suspended from a spider 12 carried by a wiring conduit 8 from which an electric lamp holder 7 is suspended and is closely surrounded by the tubular crown, the reflector being secured in position by a screwed clamping nut 19 engaging a threaded shank 9 on the wiring conduit, the walls of the tubular crown 2 are made tapered or bulbous and the central opening 3 has a depending rim 4 forming an annular hook to engage the upwardly flanged ends 18 of the spider 12. The latter is of non-circular form and is provided with a central hole 13 to pass over the shank 9. The upper end of the lamp holder 7 and the flanged base of the shank 9 are provided with coincident holes 14, 15 and are spaced apart by brackets 10, whilst the screw-threaded clamping devices 16, 17 also pass through holes 131 in the ends of the spider 12. When suspended from the spider, the reflector 1 may be rotated without disconnection.
