[Class 75 (ii)] A holder for a glass lampshade comprises a tubular element 3 connected at its upper end to a suspension fitting 5 and having attached to its lower end laterally and outwardly extending arms 3<a> constituting a spider for engagement with the under surface of the upper part 1<a> of the shade 1, and a flat ring 4 slidable upon the tubular element and provided with a downwardly extending peripheral flange 4<a> adapted to engage the rim or flange 2 of the shade externally or internally, as shown in Figs. 2 and 3 respectively.
