Convention date, April 22, 1933. Divided out of 434,675. [Class 37] A core of finely divided magnetic particles for highfrequency inductances comprises two parts made of compressed material separated by an airgap, the parts, comprising a cup - shaped shell and internal plug, being relatively adjusted to vary the airgap and then fixed in position. The parts 34, 39 are relatively rotatable and are fixed in position by a lock-nut 41, the airgap being formed at 52. The construction can be employed for matching the permeabilities of two core units working on the same frequency. Specifications 366,475, 403,368, 403,426, 405,623, and 434,675, are referred to.
