[Class 39 (iii)] An electric room heater comprises a frame 3 which carries a case 2 for heating elements 1 and is carried by a panel 7 visible from the front of the apparatus, an unclosed air space being provided between the frame and the panel to prevent overheating thereof. A surround 12 may be interposed between the frame and the panel. The spacing of the components of the heater may be effected by spacing collars 13 on fastening screws 11. Alternatively, projections may be provided on the frame and surround to space them. The frame 3 may be provided with a flange 4 which may be perforated.
