496,797. Asymmetrically conducting resistances. MALLORY & CO., Inc., P. R. April 26, 1938, No. 12443. Convention date, April 26, 1937. [Class 37] A series of dry-contact rectifier units 10 with heat-radiating plates 12 is arranged about an apertured cylindrical or polygonal wall of a fan housing 14 and the units may partly extend into the apertures or may lie outside them in the current of air. The fan housing may be mounted upon a suitable transformer casing, the air being drawn up over the transformer, an electric motor for the fan surmounting the fan housing. Outer protective casings suitably louvred may be fitted over the motor and the fan housing. Specifications 270,362, 272,568, [both in Class 37], and 421,136 are referred to.
