Abstract
415,561. Electric radiators. FROST & CO., Ltd., H., and MOSS, A. W., 35, Fieldgate, Walsall. July 12, 1933, No. 19696. [Class 39 (iii).] The heating element or elements are housed within a casing 3 mounted in an aperture in a frame or surround 9 so as to be separated from the edges of the aperture by an air space, or clearance open at the front and no part which passes in front of the elements, such, for example as a guard or grille is connected to the frame so as to bridge the air space. The heating elements are wound on fire bars 2 carried by bolts 7 secured to the back of the casing and spaced from the back. The casing is supported from the back of the wooden surround by U-shaped bars 15 secured by screws or bolts. The side and bottom edges of the aperture in the surround are fitted with bevelled strips 19. The top edge is fitted with a bar 16 carrying a deflector plate 17. The top clearance space is divided by a bar 12 forming air outlets 13, 14. Guard bars 21 are fitted to the casing.
