[Class 119] A firearm which can be attached to or form a fastening for a belt comprises a shallow box-like casing 1 having mounted on its front face a rotatable ring 13 provided with a number of cartridge chambers 16. The back plate is secured to the firearm by clips 7, and is provided with fastening eyes 11 for one end of the belt and with a guide 9 and hook 10 to form a buckle to secure the other end of the belt. The weapon is fired by a trigger 20 having a cam 25 which slides a bar 22 longitudinally within limits determined by a pin 38, movement of the bar being effected against the resistance of a spring 30 and resulting in the firing- pin 19 being withdrawn, owing to the engagement of the upper end 32 of a lever carrying the firing-pin, with a cam surface 31 on the bar 22. On continued movement of the cam 25 past the bar 22, the latter is returned by the spring 30 thereby actuating the firing-pin to discharge the weapon. After firing, continued movement of the trigger causes a cam 26 to actuate a ratchet lever 46 having a pawl 21 which engages teeth 47 on the rear of the ring 13 thus rotating the ring till a spring plunger 45 snaps into one of the bores 16 and holds the ring 13 in position for the next cartridge to be fired. The bar 22 carries a pawl 41 at one end to enable the cam 25 to return to initial position and a safety hook 28 is fitted to lock the bar 22 when the weapon is not in use.
