C.; 320, Donner Road, North Canton, Ohio, both in U.S.A.) May 30, 1934, No. 16186. Convention date, Aug. 14, 1933. [Class 29] Absorption machines and systems.- The inverted U- tube M by which the inert gas circulates between the absorber and the evaporator E forms a support for the air-cooled condenser C which is secured thereto by brackets C<4>. The tube may also support the condenser N of an evaporatorcondenser system for cooling the absorber. The right-hand limb of the tube is heated by the vapour passing from the separator D through the pipe D3 to the condenser, while the opposite limb is cooled by unevaporated liquid draining from the evaporator E and the heat-exchanger F through the pipes E<2>, F<4>, F<5>. The absorber consists of tubular sections G, K, and an intermediate cylindrical section H.
