Abstract

434,085. Hose &c. suspenders. HAWIE, M., Greens Farms, Connecticut, U.S.A. April 12, 1935, No. 11347. [Class 44] In a button-and-loop hose &c. suspender the tab 11 is of textile tape and has secured thereto near opposite ends a rubber button 8 for co-operation in the usual way with a loop 12 and a rubber abutment 9, shown as of triangular section, for securing the tab to the frame by passing the abutment 9 between the crossbars 13, 14, and the main portion of the tab over bar 14 as in Fig. 2. The abutment and button are secured to the tape by vulcanization. Fig. 6 shows a length of stock from which the tabs may be cut. In a modification the abutment 9 is omitted and the tab is secured to the frame by stitching.
