433,839. Dental articulators. DENTAL MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and BELL, A. W., Brock House, Great Portland Street, London. Dec. 5, 1934, No. 34971. [Class 81 (ii)] A dental articulator comprises a bottom plate, two upright posts 2 each having an open fork 3 accommodating pins 5 of a pivoted upper member 4. This member has a backwardly projecting lug 6 with a curved surface 7 sliding against a curved surface 10 on a hinged lever 9 which is kept in contact with the lug 6 by a spring 11. The lever 9 has a limiting piece 15 with a set screw 16 which contacts with a fixed bar 8. To imitate lateral grinding movements, the member 4 may be moved sideways relatively to the member 1. In such a case one of the pins 5 will slide up the fork 3 and the upper member will push back the lever 9 against the spring 11. The amount of movement will be limited by the set screw 16.
