Cases, watch; case springs.-The rear cover c of a watch a is adapted to open, to suport the. watch in an upright position, to an extent which is limited by a removable screw stop p. For this, the lower edge t may be straight or may have suitable feet. This removable screw p is on the cover c or on a band on the pendant b. A lever e housed in a. circular recess d in the centre band a is acted upon by a push knob f and is connected by a curved link g to a spring h. When the knob f is pressed inwards a snap k on this spring h releases the back cover and a projection m on the spring h pushes open the back cover. A pin o in recess d and loop n on spring h prevents the latter moving out of position.
