433,742. Facing and paving tiles. CHIESA & FIGLIO, C., 34, Via Tortona, Milan, Italy. July 17, 1934, Nos. 20961, 20962, and 20963. Convention dates, July 25, 1933, March 28, 1934, and March 28, 1934. [Class 87 (i)] Moulded tiles of uniform thickness, a plurality of which are used in combination for facing walls and pavements, are characterized in that each tile has two limbs meeting at an angle, the limbs being of equal width and bounded by straight unbroken parallel side edges, and straight unbroken end edges which lie at an inclination to the line bisecting the angle between the limbs. The limbs of the tile may be at various angles to each other, for example 60‹, 90‹, or 120‹, and may be of equal or different lengths. The end of each limb may be square as in Figs. 1, 28, or may be parallel to the sides of the other limb as in Fig. 29. Supplementary square or rectangular filling pieces may be used when necessary. The material may be cement, gravel, clay, majolica, glass, &c., and may be coloured.
