255,272. Richardson, C. L. Sept. 29, 1925. Paving blocks. - A block for use in making road signs or white lines for traffic control is formed with chamfered corners 3 and vertical or obliquely grooved or fluted sides and ends 4 to interlock with the road material. The blocks may be placed end to end to form a white line or used as shown in Fig. 2 to form signs or figures on the road or pavement. Porcelain, fireclay, reinforced concrete, aluminium, rubber and wood are mentioned as materials which may be used.
