Abstract

433,522. Vacuum cleaner nozzles. REPLOGLE, D. B., 940, Arlington Avenue, Berkeley, California, U.S.A. March 6, 1935, No. 7046. [Class 8 (i)] A cleaning-nozzle comprises a rubber &c. elbow tube, one, oval, end 11 of which fits over the suction pipe, while the other end is grooved, having lips 16, 17 which receive a flange on a detachable cleaning tool. A longitudinal rib 15 prevents collapse, and by its shape forms a restricted throat. The cleaning tool may comprise a bell, Fig. 6, over which a gauze cover is drawn, or an annular brush, Fig. 10.
