[Class 52 (ii)] In a surgical bedstead, the foot section 5 is connected to the frame by links 14 and is normally co-planar with the head-section 6, but can be lowered into the position shown in Fig. 2, to allow the head section 6, which runs on rollers 8 engaging the side rails 3, to take its place. The section 5 is lowered by means of a handle 17 and a link 19. Specification 396,228 is referred to.
