Abstract
368,042. Dropsidecots. WHITFIELDS BEDSTEADS, Ltd. and WHITE, C. V., 109, Watery Lane, Bordesley, Birmingham. Feb. 18, 1931, No. 5094. [Class 52 (ii).] In a dropside cot of the kind in which the sides can be lowered to lie beneath the mattress, the guide rails f, m are suspensionally carried by the mattress frame e and are permanently fixed to the side members thereof by a welding or like operation. Rollers i, i<1>, on the sides b, c engage the guide rails which may be transversely staggered. According to the Provisional Specification, the guide rails may be fixed to the mattress frame by welding " or otherwise."
