Abstract

411,578. Mattress frames. VAUGHAN, E., Field House, Clent, near Stourbridge, Worcestershire. Jan. 18, 1933, No. 1615. [Class 52 (iv).] A fitting for supporting a mattress in a plane above that of the side rails of a bedstead consists of a bracket c, the lower end of which is bent twice at right angles at c<1>, c<2> to rest on the side rail a<1> ot the bedstead, and the upper part of which is inwardly bent at c<3> and formed into a hook c<4> to engage the horizontal flange of the side frame b<3> of the mattress, which may be of the well-type. An auxiliary clamping plate c<5> and a bolt c' are provided to secure the bracket to the mattress frame.
