Abstract

431,892. Vehicle-window regulators. AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS CO., Ltd., and BROCK, D. T., Brock House, Langham Street, London. April 24, 1934, No. 12350. [Class 20 (iii)] A regulator for a vertically - sliding window or like panel, particularly of a motor - car, has combined therewith a separate parallel - motion linkage 15, 16, to prevent tilting of the panel. The regulator may be of the kind described in Specification 382,377, and the lifting lever 21 is preferably arranged to move parallel to the links 15, 16, being connected by pin and slot 39, 40 to a T-shaped slide 24 having a roller engagement with the bottom rail of the sash, Fig. 2. The links 15, 16, may be pivoted to extensions of the regulator housing 29 or may be mounted separately and duplicated, as shown in Fig. 1. The lifting lever may be adapted to hold the sash by movement over a dead centre, or separate holding means may be provided.
