Abstract
431,015. Vehicle spring suspension systems. SULLIVAN, J. J., 25, Barronstrand Street, Waterford, Irish Free State. July 24, 1934, No. 21579. [Class 108 (ii)] Each road-wheel 14 of a motor vehicle is mounted at one end of a lever 1 which is pivoted at 2 to the chassis-frame 3 and is formed at its other end into an inclined bracket 4 for supporting one end of a leaf-spring 5, the other end of which has an enlarged or elongated eye 17 surrounding a pin 7 secured to the chassis. The respective arms 1 have resilient slidable connections 9... 13 with the back-axle housing 8, as shown, and direct front-wheel connections. Specifications 105,481, 192,406, and 272,205, [all in Class 108 (ii)], are referred to.
