Abstract
506,598. Vehicle spring-suspensions; axles. AUTO-UNION AKT.-GES. Jan. 11, 1938, No. 895. Convention date, Jan. 11, 1937. [Class 108 (ii)] In an independent front wheel suspension for a motor vehicle wherein the king pin 3 is supported by an arm 4 and a transverse spring 5, the wheel camber is adjusted by an eccentric between the king pin and the vehicle frame 6. As shown., the eccentric 8 connects the arm 4 to the king pin, but the eccentric may be situated at 11, or at 12 (in which case the effective length of the spring 5 is varied).
