[Classes 103 (ii) and 108 (i)] The front part of a streamlined body for a motor vehicle having a rear engine is constructed in the form of a box 5, for accommodating, for example, a spare wheel or wheels 6 and is connected by hinges 7 to the main part 4 of the body in such a manner that it may be raised and secured in the raised position, e.g. by a rod 8, in order to facilitate access to the front axle. The box 5 is closed by a streamlined cover 9 connected by the hinges 7 or by other hinges to the body part 4. Preferably the wings 10 or the major portions thereof are fixed to the box 5. The main body part 4 is supported by a frame member 1 which carries a front, axle constituted by transverse leaf-springs 2, 3.
