Feb. 8, 1935, No. 4087. Convention. date, March 17, 1934. [Class 106 (ii)] A disc is rigidly connected with the pointer while a bridge member is loosely supported at one end on the pointer axle and at the other by a pin bearing on the disc so that the free end of the bridge member moves between two stops, contact with either causing operation of a device to indicate " rise " or " fall " of pressure. The pin 2 is rigidly connected to the moving part of the pressure gauge and a pointer 3 fast on the pin 2 moves over a pressure scale 4. A part 5 rests on the conical end of the pin 2 and by means of a pointed pin 6 on a disc 1 which moves with the pin 2. The part 5 carries at one end a plate 7 located between two electrical contacts 8, 9. When the pointer 3 moves clockwise, the part 5 also moves clockwise until the plate meets the contact 8 when its movement is stopped and an electric circuit made via the battery 10, contact strip 11, part 5, contacts 7 and 8 to cause a lamp 12 to light up. On the pointer moving in the other direction contact is made at 9 and a lamp 13 lit.
